Blueberry pancakes

Delicious blueberry pancakes

Pancakes with fresh blueberries, who can say no to that? This everyday favorite is easy to make, and has few ingredients that most people have on hand. Use this recipe and top the pancakes with whatever you want of berries, sugar, jam, chocolate, or maybe ice cream?


Pancake batter:

  • 1 litre of milk
  • 4 dl wheat flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 teaspoons sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt


  • Fresh blueberries
  • Blueberry jam
  • Sugar

How to make blueberry pancakes

  1. Mix all of the ingredients for the pancake batter in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk the ingredients well together to a silky smooth mixture.
  3. Use a medium-sized frying pan, put it on on medium heat, and add a dab of butter.
  4. Grab a ladle and fill it up with pancake batter. Add it to the frying pan and spread it around so it covers the pan.
  5. Fry the pancake until the bottom turns golden, and the top begins to set. Then flip the pancake over on the other side for further cooking.
  6. Fry the pancake until the other side turns golden.
  7. When the pancake is done, place it on a plate with aluminum foil over it, while you make the rest of the pancakes.

Serve the warm pancakes topped with blueberry jam, fresh blueberries or whatever you would like.
